Would you want your whole life to be a test?

One of my favorite ideologies about life comes from a famous rapper and entrepreneur known as Kanye West. Because of the controversy that surrounds his life, it is pretty shocking how much of the very wise and intelligent things he says blows over and doesn't get recognized on media. This is an overview of how he explains the "life is a test" ideology with some of my interpretations:  - "If every time someone asks you a question, you try to say the right answer, your entire life becomes a test. In school environments (such as college or high school), what is one of the most common activities that students have short-term anxiety with? When they are taking a test. You should not and will not always say the right answer. And that is completely okay. In life, you must just do, exist, feel and be in the present. Be confident in your choices and continue forward with your chin up high. Kanye's mother (Donda), always said.. in life, there are no ifs, would's, could

Why is it important to keep pushing forward?

Although dark, sometimes it is important to remember the finiteness of existence. In modern-day society, it is very common for people to be afraid to take initiative and risks within their own lives because of fear of judgment or failure. When I was younger, I read this quote that stuck with me to this day: "A workout does not begin until pain arrives. I believe that there is true beauty in distraction. We live in a world where our senses and emotions are constantly stimulated. From the moment you open your eyes in the morning and make the walk to your kitchen, there are hundreds of things that your brain could have analyzed that it ignored. Typically, we only focus on things that hold a deep emotional significance or importance in our lives. If I have a test that I need to study for and know the risks that come with doing bad on the test, things like what color the wall is, the piece of string on the ground in the morning, or the door being open 3 inches wider then it should be... become insignificant. But, when there are times in my life when a problem arises and I have had to deal with emotional barriers that can be almost crippling, I try to find the beauty in distraction. I take things that I would normally be annoyed from or get tired from such as extensive studying, reading, etc, and use it as a resource to keep my mind in a m
